| Samantha Friedman Interior Designs, a personalized interior design company, is the culmination of over 9 years of experience serving clients and offering creative solutions to their everyday needs. As an interior designer, my goal is to create a livable design and make you comfortable in your own home. Your home is a reflection of who you are and I will work with you to find the best design to reflect that. My entire career has been focused on serving clients in a creative way. My passion is working with colors and textures to bring out the story that you want to tell. I have worked on design projects ranging from newborn nurseries to embassy dining halls and everything in between. |

| I have worked in various fields of the design industry, which I believe benefits my clients. As a sales associate in a home furnishing showroom, I learned to understand how overwhelming it can be when faced with many options. With my sales knowledge, I am able to negotiate for my clients, and I am resourceful in locating hard-to-find pieces. Prior to my work in residential design, I spent 4 years as a commercial kitchen designer where I worked on projects such as the Philadelphia Eagles Stadium, the Washington D.C. Convention Center, the Hay-Adams Hotel, the Madison Hotel, the United States Patent and Trade Office and the Kennedy Center Encore Café. I honed my attention-to-detail and organizational skills on these large scale projects. |

| Creating and making others happy began in the kitchen. I am a gourmet chef and have worked under one of the most well-respected chefs in the country. That experience taught me how to balance tastes and how to welcome appropriate risks. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where I focused on hospitality design and project management. I learned how to keep a process organized and focused while getting projects to their successful completion on time and on budget. Samantha Friedman Interior Designs allows clients to benefit from my education, experience and design skills. Since it has always been my dream to work independent of a corporate culture, clients will feel personalized attention as I let my imagination, skills and focus work without restraints. As an NCIDQ certified designer, I am licensed in Florida, Maryland and the District of Columbia and can practice in any state, in any country. I am a professional member of ASID. |
